Shqiponjës sonë iu deshën 96 vjet për të fluturuar nga Vlora për në Prishtinë. Rrugës vuajti shumë. La pas lumenj gjaku. Erë baruti, tym lufte e sheshe beteje. Një shpirt të plagosur dhe më shumë se kaq: Një brengë të thellë për vargje e vargje të tërë brezash.
Por, kur të dielën e 17 shkurtit mbërriti në qendrën e Kosovës, shpendi simbol i ngazëlleu zemrat e të gjithë shqiptarëve, anekënd botës i ngazëlleu zemrat e të gjithë neve. Na dha hov, nder, guxim dhe mbi të gjitha krenari. Roland Qafoku
