Kreshnik Qato, kampion i botës në versionin WBF

Kreshnik Qato i jep Shqipërisë titullin e parë botëror. Boksieri nga Durrësi ka fituar sfidën përballë portugezit Vitor Sa, me vendim unanim (119-110, 117-111 dhe 120-111). 30-vjeçari triumfon në ringun e pallatit të sportit "Asllan Rusi", për titullin kampion botë në versionin WBF dhe titullin mesdhetar të federatës WBC për peshat e mesme. "Ndjehem i gëzuar", ka deklaruar kampioni shqiptar menjëherë pas ndeshjes. "Falënderoj të gjithë publikun. Ua dedikoj fitoren këtyre tifozëve dhe viktima të Gërdecit".
